Intervention-based pain management practice in western Washington State has immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner. The position involves evaluation of patients suffering from persistent spinal pain, nerve injury /pain, headaches or joint pain.  The NP will obtain and evaluate medical histories, perform physical examinations, perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedure (as authorized), and order laboratory studies, radiographs, and other special examinations. NP will counsel patients on medical problems, use of medications, expected effects of treatment, and other therapeutic health maintenance matters. Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington. Must be able to multi-task and be proficient with computers. Friendly and patient oriented. Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM, No weekends or call. Responsible for seeing all follow up pain patients as well as assisting the physician in seeing the new patients. Physician will train if someone wants to learn about trigger point injections, knee, elbow and shoulder joints injections. Position is Mon-Fri with no weekend or call. Clinic uses “Electronic Medical Record (EMR)” and each exam room is equipped with computer. No hand writing, notes, paper work or dictation. It is a busy practice and average number of follow up patients seen by FNP/PA could be 35-45. EMR set-up makes visits very quick and easy. Small town location is in southeast Missouri and has 16000-18000 population. Area is like a resort with large lake and lots of hiking, fishing, hunting, golf, horse riding and boating. Cost of living is very inexpensive and everything is within a 5-minute drive. Salary $72-86K plus production bonus (20% over $15000/month collection). Malpractice, Health & Dental.
